cattails

well I have done all my prep work, boards all finished and blended into a timeline. There are things I am uncertain of with the timing, but I realize that is what the rough draft is for, trying to figure it out. It seems I am out of any sort of ruse concerning productive procrastination, and all my nanobuddies are off and running, time for me to take that first step

I like these cattails pictures. We used to call then "catty ninetails". Take the fuzzy stuff off, and then made good arrows for our homemade bows.

Good luck with nanowrimo. I added you as a buddy, since you added me (hooch66 aka strugglingwriter).

Paul,
Thanks.

I didn't know catty ninetails, defuzzed, were good for making bows. I like the imagery that idea brings.

The best thing to do is to plunge right in!

I love those photos, they're gorgeous - really beautiful - so wispy and evocative.

Vanilla,
Thanks.
Clearly you have never gone swimming with me. You know how some people dive right in, and others get one toe wet, then wait a while, then get whole foot wet, then wait a while, then get ankles wet, then wait a while, while their bodies adjust, then...(well you get the idea, I am of the second variety.)

But you are right, best to plunge right in...and I am trying but at times it is a bit bracing.
