It is just about that time of year again. St. Patrick's Day. The day when my son wakes up to find our house pranked by Leprechauns. A lot of silliness took place last year. 37 things according to Cheese, who likes to keep track. And adding that onto the past 5 years of pranking. I think maybe the elves are out of ideas for this year. I said something of this nature to my son, and that perhaps this year they would go on to prank other, new kids. (I use the term prank loosely as the spirit here is gentle compared to some April's fools day stuff.) He was horrified that I would consider such a notion. "Of course they will come. They always come. Our house would be so dreadfully boring if they ever stopped. I couldn't stand it." So that settles that then. Except that I am quite certain that the leprechauns only have 10 ideas for this year.

10 ideas is a great group. Heck, one idea is good. All it takes is one idea, one . . . really . . . good idea.

What great memories for Cheese to have.

You'll have to let us know how the pranks go this year. This sounds fun!

David,

One good idea?! Oh drat, I don't know if I have one of those.

I hope so. Otherwise I am spending my time running around in circles for nothing.
:)
In fact. I don't know when I will get to go blog visiting as I have to get back to prank prep now. (I wont be able to do any prep over the weekend)

Paul,
:)
It made Cheese indignant. I will never forget the time, a year or so ago. When the tooth fairy tired of waiting for him to fall asleep at night (so she could collect the tooth and leave the money) ended up falling asleep herself. And then somehow forgot all about it. Boy did he carry on the next day, saying very pointedly to me, that SHE better not forget tonight. I told him he made things very hard for magical creatures and beings by never properly going to bed on time firstly, and secondly by never staying asleep.

I hope it goes well/is fun for him. He is all in diappointment over the coyote thing, and suddenly I am feeling extra pressure.
